    Yep, it feels incredibly fine to be back among the folks with power since the freak storm. I'm able to feed and care for the horses, check on them and generally fuss over them without carting around my cyclop (a worker-type light you wear in the center of your forehead that gives off a strong beam). I've come to really appreciate what we have in this age of modern conveniences. Having all that we lost with this last storm - power, cable, phone and internet - makes me appreciate anew the various blessings we take for granted.
